We hand make all of these wigs with real yak hair. Yak hair is considered by far to be the best material to use for clown wigs. A full wig takes us between 10-15 hours to completely make. They are hand tied (ventilated) not sewn in a row at a time. (wefted) If you bought a wig anywhere else it is likely that it was wefted. Look at your wig, is there large gaps between the rows? Our wigs are completely filled in. By hand tying we get nice full wigs that can be styled different ways. These wigs are dyed a brilliant color that will not fade or wash out. All of our wigs can be made in the style and color of your choice. The entire wig can be hand washed. We even took one of our wigs and put it in a washing machine and a dryer and it came out fine. It was completely tangled and had to by brushed out but it was O.K. (We don't recommend that you do this, but we wanted to see if it would hold up-and it passed the test!)
